4 Things you need to remove from your Instagram bio
So here’s what I removed to ATTRACT my IDEAL audience as a CONTENT CREATOR on my Instagram with 100k followers:
1️⃣ Other TAGGED Accounts
You want the attention on YOUR ACCOUNT - not someone else’s. Don’t redirect your audience’s interest UNLESS you benefit from featuring another brand’s account in your bio.
2️⃣ Irrelevant HASHTAGS
Most hashtags in your bio WILL redirect your audience to the explore page. And guess what? You just LOST them. Remove unnecessary hashtags to keep your audience engaged with your PROFILE.
3️⃣ Lengthy QUOTES
Keep your bio concise and to the point! Avoid LENGTHY quotes or descriptions that make your bio OVERWHELMING to read.
4️⃣ Too many EMOJIS
3x3 rule — I personally use 3 emojis to complement 3 lines of text with different ideas. Overuse of emojis can make your bio appear less professional.
🧠 Remember: REMOVE anything that DOES NOT contribute to your online PRESENCE or personal
BRAND.
