Here's how to monetize a faceless Instagram

Instagram is a great platform to grow and monetize an audience. However, lots of people do not want to show their faces doing it.

The truth is that you do not need to show your face in order to grow and monetize an Instagram account.

In fact, there are many faceless accounts on Instagram that are making $10,000s of dollars monthly.

What matters is that you are creating content that is appropriate for what you are trying to sell and that you are effectively funnelling the audience towards what you are trying to sell.

This is usually to be sending people to a free product and then upselling them through the email list and in the free product.

If you are unsure whether or not you will be able to make money from faceless content in a niche, look to see if there are other faceless accounts in the niche that are getting views and making money.

When it comes to finding footage to use, Pinterest and Pexels are good free options. There are also paid options like hissocialstocks and hersocialstocks.

Good ways to monetize faceless accounts are with digital products such as templates and planners and with affiliate marketing.

However, the easiest method is this:

1. Grow your audience using the Instagram sniper strategy (where you recreate your own version of proven reels in your niche)

2. Send your audience to an email list where you monetize with Sparkloop upscribe or Beehiiv boosts. This is where a widget appears that recommends other newsletters and you get paid a commission. Use manychat to tell people to comment a certain word to get the link to your email lead magnet in the DM.

3. Keep growing your audience until you can get 3k opens on your emails

4. Start reaching out to companies in your niche offering sponsorship placements on your newsletter. At a $20 cpm, you would earn $60 for each sponsorship slot in an email, if you’re getting 3k opens. You can sell multiple sponsor slots per email, and sell sponsorship packages to earn more.

5. Add additional monetization with your own products, affiliate offers and services.
