In this email, I am going to give you a guide to how to setup a system for your digital creator business that will allow you to make a passive income.

To make money online you need an audience to see what you have to sell and something to sell to that audience.

What you sell does not have to be your own product. For example, you can sell sponsorships, do affiliate deals and show advertisements.

Also, you can sell multiple different types of products and generally this is the best thing to do.

When it comes to generating traffic, the best method that I have discovered so far is to post on social media and then to direct that social media traffic to a free product that you offer in exchange for their emails.

The best platform to start with this, in my opinion, is Instagram. The reason for this is that the algorithm is generally willing to push out your content even if you have a small following and you can send people to your free product using Manychat.

I go in detail about this in the Digital Creator 2.0

The most important part here is consistency. You’re not going to be getting millions of impressions to your content straight away. But, if you’re consistent, you will start to generate traffic going to your free product. This is not an overnight process.

Also, the platform you will use will depend a lot on your niche. If you’re talking about cooking, then Pinterest would actually be a good platform to be posting on.

Also, focus on one platform to start, but try to repurpose your content for other platforms. you can do this quickly and get some additional growth.

Once you have established the system of creating content for social media, it becomes quite easy to do and does not take much time. You can also do it in bulk and schedule your content out for the month.

Once you start generating traffic, you should start to focus on monetizing that traffic.

The first and easiest way to do this is by using Sparkloop upscribe or Beehiiv boosts. This is where a widget pops up and recommends other newsletters after someone subscribes to your email list.

It is an easy way to generate about $1 per signup. If you’re getting 50 subscribers per day, that is potentially $50 per day in income right off the bat.

After setting that up, your main focus should be growing your list to 10k people. This is because other advertising opportunities get easier to come by as your list grows.

The next easiest way to monetize is with sponsorships. To start getting sponsorships, you need to have at least 10k people on your list. Otherwise, it is not worth the time for the sponsors.

You can make about $20 per 1000 people on your email list for a sponsorship placement. To get sponsorships, you should reach out to businesses in your niche using email or linkedin.

Another easy way you can monetize is by linking to affilliate programs in your niche.

However, the best passive monetization method is by selling your own digital products. This is where you create a digital product such as a course, ebook, lighting preset, template, or anything else that can be exchanged digitally, and then sell it to your email list and social media audience.

To host the digital product you can use a platform like Gumroad, Lemonsqueezy, Podia or Kajibi.

Once you have made the digital product, you can sell it by linking to it in your emails, creating an email welcome sequence that you send to your new subscribers and by promoting it to your social media audience such as with Instagram stories.

Once you have the system setup for Sparkloop, Sponsorships, Affiliate, and digital products, it simply becomes a case of creating content for your social media audience and sending it to your email lead magnets. You have everything setup to take care of the rest.
